ABOUT US

Gypsy Kitties are here in our neighborhoods!

Can you help us help them?

As a volunteer for many animal rescue organizations in Bucks County, PA, I spend much of my personal resources working with animals in our neighborhoods.  I consider this to be a very important investment in the health of both these animals, and our community as a whole.

I am often approached by several community members who are concerned about the welfare of community cats.  The depth of their concern moved me to become even more pro-active.

Did you know that community cats and the people who care for and about them are not protected under Pennsylvania State Law?

Many people are not aware of this lack of lawful protection and the impact it might have on them.

Here are some questions you should ask yourself:

If I put a bowl of food on my porch for the cats outside, what responsibility do I have for potential property damages on my neighbors' property?

What would happen to the cats if my neighbors consider these cats a nuisance?

Who is responsible for the welfare of these cats?

The answer to the last question is:  We are all responsible.

Every spring, community cat colonies grow, become more crowded, and cause health and safety concerns for humans, wild life, and the cats themselves.  That makes them a community issue!
To learn more, feel free to "ROAM" through this site...

It was my hope that if I reach out to you, my friends and neighbors, perhaps I could rally some real support for this cause.

We work with local rescues and clinics to spay/neuter and vaccinate the kittens born to free-roaming cats and to place them up for adoption.

Please help me build an account for them so we can gain control of the growth of these colonies for all of our benefit!
